Lecturing and Teaching in Topeka, KS

I had the pleasure of lecturing and teaching a workshop in Topkea, Kansas last week for the second time.   I was there over 6 years ago and the Capital Quilter’s Guild  graciously invited me back again.  It’s very nice to drive just an hour to a ‘gig’ from my house…less ‘consolidated’ airplane bag packing. Items could stay in their storage containers and plopped in the car.

The people were all great and I had a wonderful time. They took me to The Classic Bean for after-lecture treats and we talked quite a bit before departing for the night.  My class was awesome with 15 great budding beadists.  Yes, as I apologized for at the beginning of the “Confessions of a Bead Freak” lecture the night before, they were all thoroughly corrupted with beads by the end of the workshop! I can’t wait to see what they create now.
